Smartphone contains your information
Almost every single person has a smartphone. A few years ago, many people used them just for their main purpose (communication). Today, smartphones are used for almost everything! Their latest feature allows you to pay bills with them. This is very good, because it eliminates the need for carrying a cash. Although, it sounds good, it isn’t very safe! Every user saves his personal information (passwords, bank accounts, and etc.). While you are using your smartphone, you can protect that data by using an antivirus. If you use Android device you can download many antiviruses from Google Play. If you use an iPhone, there is no need for an antivirus. Many of that software are free, but it should be effective.
The real problem comes when you sell or replace your phone. Before that, you should format its memory and delete everything from it! The most important thing you should delete are contacts! It would be problematic if someone gets hands on your friends and family phone numbers! Despite doing all this, some people can restore deleted information, such as passwords, bank accounts information and dialed numbers! After that, they can use it against you! This is a serious problem when you are selling your old phone, or give to someone. It is impossible to know who the future used will be!
There is only one solution for this problem. Don’t sell your phone and don’t give it to anybody! Simply put it in some draw (where it will stay very long) or throw it away. There is no some big reason for concern, unless you are a celebrity or a businessman. If you are, then give your phone to charity. There is less chance that someone will find your phone in Africa.
