Virtual Reality In Space With Microsoft Hololens Glasses
NASA and Microsoft early today has announce the pair of Hololens glasses Microsoft has wearable holographic computer will make them able to make their way to International Space stations via the SpaceX dragon supply mission launching on Sunday, 28 June.
And hence the two are working to develop augmented reality for the astronauts and it will be blasting its first headset into the orbit this weekend. From the rumors the project has been named SideKick, this new technology will enable the astronauts to travel to space by seeing the virtual aids holographically projected into their field of view by the glasses.
The hololens glasses will also enable them to see on the videos that are explaining on how the different experiments should be done by giving the instructions and procedure as they virtually do them. Make training easier and the efficiency in which astronaut work .
The Director of the ISS plan at NASA, Sam Scimemi said, Hololens has been accompanied with some other virtual and mixed reality devices that will help to drive future explorations and make us capable to conduct critical science on even International Space stations.
NASA and Microsoft engineers worked on the project SideKick tested it and the Microsoft Hololens aboard NASA’s weight less Wonder C9 jet they had to make sure they are functioning as they are expected in free-fall in advance of their delivery to the microgravity environment of the space station.
Microsoft and NASA have great dreams and co-operation to the realization and exploration of the unexplored space, we hope they will accomplish them.
